Event Description
APPAC, is a bipartisan, nonprofit organization committed to addressing the needs of the Pakistani Americans diaspora in the United States. Our conferences, serve as a platform for legislators, scholars, and civic leaders to address various concerns pertinent to this community.
Workshops ranging on key issues, such as Islamophobia, education, civic engagement, capacity building, building bridges and collectively lobby for new and existing legislation aimed to address the needs of Pakistani/ Muslim Americans. Additionally, APPAC aims to create opportunities for Pakistani American youth, which will facilitate their professional development, growth, and future success.
Through this conference APPAC also hopes to create a platform for Pakistani American women. Issues regarding discrimination at work place, creating a better platform within the Pakistani American community for women, domestic violence and entrepreneurship are the areas that will be the focus.
