Event Description
Goal of the Workshop: Identify a group of youth activists among Pakistani Americans, introducing to them the APPAC ideology and goals, setting up foundation for involving them into the APPAC activities in the nearest future
Selection of Participants: The APPAC will select the participants for those workshops among Pakistani American youth from the colleges, other not-for-profits and private sector in New York City and Tri-State areas. We are aiming at inviting up to 20 participants. The major criteria for the selection of participants is their willingness to learn, get involved in the APPAC activities and helping our goals in the future, thus becoming politically and socially active and creating a positive impact in the Pakistani American society
Workshop: The workshop will last approximately 4-5 hours.
Topic of the Workshop: “How the youth can impact the politics and society around themselves to expand their rights and opportunities for advancement in the modern world”
